2010; Not so Sunny for the Honey
Well, the weather has been less than perfect for the late Spring and Early Summer of 2010. Ask any farmer or beekeeper around and they'll tell you the worries they've had about the above average rain over all of the prairies. It seemed no one is to remain untouched by the perils of the rains, and anyone that tells you differnent is a liar or an optimist. (Or both!)
Still, the sunshine has returned to the skies once more and the bees are flying thier little wings off. Things may have been hindered by the rains for a long time, but I thin they're back on track now. Optimist? Of course. You have to be to bee a farmer ;)

What a Buzzy Spring!!

Well to say that there's been no time to write on the site is an understatement!!
Things have been in full swing for over six weeks now and things are off to a great start this year, dispite the crops being slow to take thier place in the fields. The bees look very good so far, and splitting is in full time mode for the last little while.
More to come!!
